Vadnais Heights Minnesota

The Swedish Immigrant Trail was developed as part of the Swedish Immigrants Trail Program of the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. The Tree Trail offers an insight into the history of Swedish migration to the USA in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. This trail passes through the town of Vadnais Heights and crosses wetlands, grasslands and forests over a length of 2 km.

Although it is extremely convenient to use public transport to move around the area, Metro Transit operates several routes. The Shingle Creek Regional Trail branches off the Rush Creek Regional Trail at Noble Parkway. This road leads from Brooklyn Park south to Brooklyn Center and then north to Robbinsdale. The Twin Lakes Regional Trail offers an easy commute to and from downtown Brooklyn and Robbins Dale.

As the name suggests, Nine Mile Creek is a lake, and West Medicine Lake is the connecting lake. Rice Creek West Regional Trail runs along the west side of the river, from the northern end of Brooklyn Park to the southern end of Noble Parkway.

Students at Vadnais Heights Elementary School learn about Chinese language and culture. Secondary school students also have the opportunity to visit a Chinese language and cultural center at the University of Minnesota - St. Paul. Chinese communities in the area and students attending Vadsnights Heights Elementary School learn Chinese languages and cultures. Centerville Road and County Road E are located near the northern end of Brooklyn Park on the west side of the river and the southern end of Noble Parkway. VADNAis Lake is located on a lakeside property, north of Noble Park and west of Brookside Park.
